Back to the Beginning . . .

The orginal SPEBSQSA logo was designed in 1939, one year after The Society was founded by O.C. Cash. The fraternal look was a unique representation of the barbershop style and followed the designs of other fraternal organizations that existed at the time, such as the American Legion. In 1943, the intricate insignia was redesigned to a more simplified lyre logo that remained until 2005.
